Where to Meet Gaston at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
No one’s quite like Gaston, that’s for sure. He is likely the most arrogant of the Disney villains, which means he makes for a good meet-and-greet. Of course, you’ll want to remember that everything will be all about him when it’s finally your turn. Yes, he holds a very long line. We got in line to meet him at approximately 7:08 p.m. during the Halloween Party, and as soon as we joined the line, the cast member cut it off. We were literally the last guests to see him for his first meet-and-greet period, which had just begun at 7:00 p.m.
Update: This character meet-and-greet was available at last year’s party. We’ll update it if and when we know of his return in 2026.

Here is a photo of the line ahead of me. Approximately 20 guests were waiting to see him, which made me think I would be there for at least 30 minutes. Luckily, some of the parties were larger, and the line ended up moving more quickly than I anticipated.

It was 7:28 p.m. when I met Gaston. So I had a total wait of 20 minutes. A new and even longer line had formed behind me at this point. Gaston went on break after our meet-and-greet, so those guests were waiting to meet him when he returned from break. Here are a few photos.

At the end of our little photo shoot, he let me know he could do this all day long, and I wasn’t a bit surprised. If you are attending this year’s party and have an interest in meeting Gaston, you’ll find him in Fantasyland. He meets on the bridge between the viewing area of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Be Our Guest restaurant.
Gaston’s exact times are listed in the My Disney Experience app. He will meet intermittently throughout the party, starting at 7:00 p.m. We’ve seen most of the characters out pretty late this year, but it is possible a meet-and-greet could end early. So if meeting Gaston is important to you, you’ll want to meet him earlier rather than later.
Gaston is an autograph-signing character, and a PhotoPass photographer is present at this location to take your picture. A spotlight is used after dark to help with lighting.
