Kiddie Pool Deck at Disney’s Pop Century Closing for Maintenance in Mid-April
Walt Disney World has posted a notice about routine maintenance on the kiddie pool at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. The announcement says the kiddie pool deck will close starting May 4th. It is expected to remain closed through mid-May 2026. During this time, the resort’s feature pool and all other amenities will remain available to guests. Here is updated wording for the announcement.
From May 4 through mid May 2026, the kiddie pool deck at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, the Hippy Dippy Pool and all other amenities will remain available. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity in the area during daytime hours.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort has three pools. The Hippy Dippy Pool is the resort’s feature pool and the only resort pool with a neighboring kiddie pool. In recent years, Pop Century has undergone a multi-year refurbishment, including subtle room updates, a fully rethemed quick-service food court, and significant lobby updates.
We recently shared a before-and-after look at the Pop Century lobby and an updated look at the refurbished food court. While most refurbishment notices have been removed, we still noticed exterior painting and a few other small updates during our March visit.
