Goofy Visits Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Week in 2023 (Former Camp Minnie-Mickey Attire)

We’ve seen an abundance of surprise characters pop up at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for Earth Week! As of today, we can add Goofy to the list. But it wasn’t just any Goofy surprising guests in the park. This was Goofy sporting his best camping outfit from the former Camp Minnie-Mickey.

For those who don’t know, Camp Minnie-Mickey closed some time ago to make way for the construction of Pandora, World of Avatar. So it’s been almost ten years since we’ve seen these characters in their former camping outfits! Of course, Adventurer’s Outpost opened not long after Camp Minnie-Mickey closed. That’s where Mickey and Minnie meet regularly. Here are a few photos of Goofy in his Camp Minnie-Mickey outfit!

During Earth Week, we’ve seen a few other surprise characters like Flik from A Bug’s Life, and then Tinker Bell and Fawn, and Jane and Terk from Tarzan. Remember, these characters are not guaranteed and have only made special appearances for the park’s Earth Week celebration! Earth Day is Animal Kingdom’s birthday, and the park celebrates its 25th anniversary this year! In honor of that celebration, a new character meet featuring Moana is scheduled to debut on Earth Day.
