Where To Get Your Hair Braided at Disney World
Do you have frizzy hair that would do better in a braid during your Walt Disney World vacation? If your hair is anything like mine, I get it. Since we’ve had a number of questions pop up lately, I thought I would do a little investigating to find out where you could get your hair braided at Disney World. Below, we’ve listed all of the hair braiding services with prices and details.

Hair-Braiding at Disney’s Grand Floridian Spa
For starters, the spa at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa does bounding braids. Guests can schedule an appointment for one or two braids. We’ve listed the exact services and price below. Note that braid enhancements are available (think bows, ribbons, etc.) for an additional price. Here are the details:
- Bounding Braids
- $45.00 (Check Current Price on the spa’s website below.)
- Perfect for a day of fun, this service includes one or two neat Dutch/French braids styled by our professional team. It’s an easy, durable, and fashionable option—and you can elevate the look with decorative add-ons for an additional charge.
Additional Service:
- Braid Enhancement
- $10.00 (Check Current Price on the spa’s website below.)
- Choose from a selection of various hair decorations. This enhancement does not include colorful braided hair.
The spa lists the following additional details:
** Please note: Colorful braiding hair is not included. For best results, come with freshly washed, dry hair, free of pool chemicals.
You can book this offering in advance on the Grand Floridian’s spa services website here. It is our understanding that guests who arrive early can enjoy a special, relaxed waiting area in the spa up to 30 minutes before and after their treatment.

Hair-Braiding at Disney’s Pop Century Resort
You can also find hair-braiding stations at both Disney’s Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts. At Pop Century Resort, the kiosk is set up outside between the lobby and the Hippy Dippy Pool.
You do not have to be a guest of the resorts to access these options. These kiosks are open daily between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Both are operated by the same company, so prices and services are the same.
Guests can use Disney transportation to visit the resort and have their hair braided. Here is a photo of the hair-braiding station at Pop Century. They offer Henna, airbrush tattoos, and hair wraps in addition to braids.

Hair-Braiding at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Over at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you’ll find a kiosk that’s run by the same company near the Big Blue Pool. It sits immediately in front of the laundry room. This kiosk is also open daily between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Hair-Braiding at Disney’s Dolphin Hotel (Mandara Spa)
In addition to the resorts we’ve listed above, Disney’s Dolphin is home to the Mandara Spa. This resort is a Marriott-owned and operated hotel that’s part of the Epcot Resorts Area. You can get to this hotel by using Disney transportation.
Currently, the Mandara Spa lists French Braiding as a service for $50.00 a braid. The hotel has a lengthy list of hair and other cosmetic services. You can view their spa menu here to see all spa services and prices.
Need to Know
We would recommend taking Disney transportation to access these resorts. For the Grand Floridian, you can take transportation to the Magic Kingdom and then monorail, boat, or walk to the Grand Floridian. We recommend scheduling an appointment for both the Grand Floridian Spa and the Mandara Spa. If you have a scheduled appointment, you shouldn’t have any issues with driving or taking a car service to either resort. At the Dolphin, you’ll need to have your parking ticket validated before you leave.
For the options at Pop Century and Art of Animation, we would, in most cases, take the Skyliner over from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So you can take a bus to Hollywood Studios, and then board the Skyliner to Caribbean Beach and transfer to Pop Century and Art of Animation. (These locations take walk-ups.)
