2025 Table Service Dining at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party: Reservation Dates, Details, and Tips

If you’re thinking about making table service dining reservations for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, you’ll want to consider timing, cost, and availability. Select resort guests can begin making table service dining reservations for the party starting June 12, 2025. All other guests will be able to make reservations starting June 16, 2025. Below, we’ll review where you can enjoy a sit-down table service meal at the party and discuss how to discern if the extra time and expense are worth it.

2025 Mickey’s Halloween Party Table Service Restaurants

For starters, the following table service restaurants are open during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party this season:

Cinderella’s Royal Table
Be Our Guest
The Plaza Restaurant
The Beak and Barrel*

These restaurants (except for The Beak and Barrel) all have the following disclaimer listed on their official page on Walt Disney World’s website:

Starting June 12, 2025, Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can book their reservation to dine at this restaurant during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party—offered on select nights from August 15 to October 31, 2025. All other Guests will be able to book reservations starting June 16, 2025.

Should You Make Table Service Reservations During the Halloween Party?

You will have to decide whether or not a meal during the party is worth it to you. While we believe that it’s important to have “dining incorporated into your plan” for the party, we don’t think it’s a good idea to enjoy a sit-down meal during the party. Party time is limited, and both the party ticket and the meal are added expenses. So it’s important to consider whether a sit-down meal fits your priorities for the evening.

For example, we have attended two parties over the last decade or so where we dined at Be Our Guest during the party. The first time, we didn’t know better. I remember feeling stressed while we were dining because we were missing other things. At that time, reservations at Be Our Guest were pretty difficult to obtain. Then, we ended up having exceptionally slow service (or at least it felt that way), and the time we spent dining was out of our control. Another time, I was invited to dine with friends, and we waited a long time to get seated. Since I had already attended another party that year, it wasn’t a big deal. But I remember thinking that we spent a lot of money on a ticket (and the meal) to dine somewhere that we could have on any other day at the park.

So, how do we handle it? We are not early eaters by any means. We do, however, make exceptions for both seasonal parties. When I’m covering a party for the website, I almost always have a late lunch or an early quick-service dinner before 4:00 p.m., when guests are officially allowed to enter Magic Kingdom for the party. This allows me to begin covering any character meet-and-greets that begin early.

When visiting with family or friends, we usually don’t arrive at Magic Kingdom until around 5:00 p.m. to avoid the early line. Then, we enjoy a sit-down meal at a table service or a quick service restaurant. If we dined at a nearby resort, we’d probably have a meal at 4:30 p.m. at the latest, with hopes to be at Magic Kingdom by 5:45 p.m.

I would also like to stress that we rarely purchase any of the specialty food items available at the party. We almost always have 2-3 in our party who suffer from some sort of food allergy. Therefore, going out of our way to purchase a special treat is rarely part of our plan. We usually grab a soda, popcorn, and a Mickey pretzel before the fireworks if we need a snack during the evening. If you are interested in trying items like the Madame Leota Séance Candle (a red velvet cake with cookies and cream mousse), you might enjoy it while you’re waiting for a parade or the evening fireworks. If you’re still not sure what to do, ask yourself this: Will I or anyone in my party feel the need to keep an eye on the clock while we dine? Will we feel pressured to cut our meal short to get to a parade, stage show, etc?

If this is your only day at Magic Kingdom and you really want to dine at Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table, I would try to do it earlier rather than later. These meals are experiences that are not to be rushed, just like the Halloween Party.
