Where to Meet Chip and Dale at Mickey’s Halloween Party (Bat Costumes)
Chip and Dale have returned to the character meet-and-greet lineup for the 2026 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. This is the first time we’ve seen the pair of chipmunks have a meet-and-greet at the party since 2019! Below, we’ll discuss how you can meet Chip and Dale at the party, preview a few photos of their Halloween costumes, and discuss how long you can expect to wait. As you can imagine, they are quite the popular pair!
We set out to meet Chip and Dale just before 7:00 p.m. We knew they were meeting in Frontierland near Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but weren’t sure exactly where. We saw a sign near the Trick or Treat Trail close to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It indicated we were headed in the right direction. However, don’t stop here (unless you want candy). You’ll need to continue onward to find the chipmunks.
Chip and Dale meet near the restrooms at the exit of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. So you will need to walk through the ride’s entrance area and stay to the far right. You’ll find a line before you reach the restrooms. We arrived a few minutes before 7:00 p.m. and found about 40 guests ahead of us.
Chip and Dale began meeting at promptly 7:00 p.m. They took their first break while we were waiting. We met Chip and Dale at 7:29 p.m., so our wait was approximately 30 minutes. The pair were wearing bat costumes and were super cute as always.
They took a few moments to prepare for a photo shoot with their favorite blogger. I’m just kidding; they do this for everyone.
As you can imagine, this meet-and-greet makes for a fun photo opportunity.
Chip and Dale’s costumes had skeleton bodies with wings that looked like sparkly black velvet lined with purple satin. The sweetest orange bow ties added a nice pop of color.
I was very happy that we only had to wait 30 minutes to meet them. When we finished up, the line was much longer than when we started. Cast members had even created a new queue area with tape on the ground to accommodate the line. I estimated the line was twice as long, which meant many of those guests would probably wait about an hour to meet them.
Of course, waiting in long lines to meet characters at the Halloween Party is the norm. We’ve been doing this for years, and it’s to be expected, especially early on in the party. If meeting Chip and Dale is important to your group, you’ll want to prioritize this meet.
