Holiday Sleigh Rides Return to Fort Wilderness in 2026
Holiday sleigh rides are returning to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort for the 2026 holiday season. From December 1 through December 30, guests can take a 25-minute ride through the festive campground aboard a cozy sleigh, surrounded by Fort Wilderness’s scenic landscape. The experience will not be available on December 24.
This year’s Holiday Sleigh Rides will depart from the (newer) Tri-Circle-D Ranch barn near the Settlement Bus Depot at the Cabins and Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Each sleigh seats up to four adults or two adults and three small children, and reservations are highly recommended because space is limited. Each ride costs $80.00, including tax.

How to Book a Holiday Sleigh Ride at Fort Wilderness
You can make reservations on Disney’s website or in the My Disney Experience app up to 60 days before your visit. Same-day reservations and walk-ins can be made on a limited basis and are subject to availability. Disney notes the following good-to-know details regarding the experience:
- Check-in: Guests should arrive 15 minutes before their reservation at the new Tri-Circle-D Ranch barn near the Settlement Bus Depot. If driving, park at Fort Wilderness’s main entrance and take a bus to the Settlement Depot.
- Allow extra travel time: Disney recommends allowing up to 1.5 hours for transportation within Walt Disney World property.
- Accessibility: Guests using a wheelchair must be able to walk aboard the sleigh without assistance.
- Weather: Rides may be canceled because of inclement weather, although they operate in rain and cold. Umbrellas, ponchos, and sunscreen are not provided.
- Capacity: Each sleigh accommodates up to four adults or two adults and three children.
- Children: Guests age 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
- Payment: Full payment is due when the reservation is made.
- Same-day reservations: Limited same-day bookings and walk-ins are handled on-site and are subject to availability.
- Cancellation policy: Reservations must be canceled at least one day in advance to avoid forfeiting the full price. Guests who do not show for their reservation will also be charged the full price.
