Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Set to Reopen in Mid-December
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is set to reopen at Magic Kingdom on December 18, 2026, after a refurbishment that began November 2nd. Disney has now confirmed the return date for the attraction, which takes guests on a journey through the bayou with Princess Tiana and friends.
The reopening follows the attraction’s first official refurbishment since it opened at Magic Kingdom in June 2024. The closure also affected Tiana’s Bayou General shop and the attraction’s photo shop, which were scheduled to remain closed while the ride was unavailable.
We previously shared details about the 2026 refurbishment of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which began in November, including what guests needed to know about the temporary closure.
With the December 18 reopening date, guests visiting Magic Kingdom over the holidays can look forward to experiencing the attraction. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure features familiar characters, music, and scenes inspired by The Princess and the Frog, culminating in a thrilling log flume-style finale.
If you’re visiting Disney World in December, keep an eye out for the reopening. While it doesn’t always happen, an attraction may have a soft opening ahead of its scheduled reopening.
