UPDATE: Jennifer Garner Replaced by Susan Egan on Epcot’s Candlelight Processional Schedule
Jennifer Garner’s name no longer appears on this year’s schedule for the Epcot Candlelight Processional. As we were updating our Festival of the Holidays coverage today, we noticed that Susan Egan, the voice of Megara (Meg) in Hercules and the original Belle from Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast, is now listed in her place.
Back in September, Disney announced the narrators for the 2025 event, which included eight new celebrities. Here is the original list:
- Nov. 28-29 – Constance Wu (NEW)
- Nov. 30-Dec. 2 – Jordan Fisher
- Dec. 3-4 – Jennifer Garner (NEW) (REPLACED BY SUSAN EGAN)
- Dec. 5-6 – Ashley Eckstein
- Dec. 7-8 – Ralph Macchio
- Dec. 9-10 – Leslie Uggams (NEW)
- Dec. 11-13 – Marlee Matlin
- Dec. 14-15 – Henry Winkler (NEW)
- Dec. 16-17 – Lauren Daigle (NEW)
- Dec. 18-19 – Gary Sinise
- Dec. 20-22 – Brendan Fraser
- Dec. 23-24 – Luis Fonsi
- Dec. 25-26 – Joel Smallbone (NEW)
- Dec. 27-28 – Brie Larson (NEW)
- Dec. 29-30 – Sheryl Lee Ralph (NEW)
Jennifer Garner was scheduled as the celebrity narrator on December 3rd and 4th. The updated lineup shows Susan Egan for both dates. As you likely know, both narrators are incredible choices.
Disney fans will most recognize Susan Egan as the original role of Belle in the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast. She also voiced Megara in Disney’s animated film Hercules. Of course, these are just a few of her tremendous accomplishments.
