Chip and Dale Meet and Greet Shuffles to the River Walk at Magic Kingdom
Update:Â This meet-and-greet location is no longer available. You can learn more about their current locations in our guide that discusses where to meet Chip and Dale at Disney World. The continuing article is left for historical reference.Â
Chip and Dale are on the move at Magic Kingdom again! Within the last year, these guys met at Storybook Circus and in Tomorrowland as Space Cadets. However, they are now meeting along the River Walk in front of the Rivers of America. That’s the long wooden boardwalk between the Liberty Square Riverboat and the bridge in front of the splashdown at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

We’ll see how long they last at this location. They have met here before, but it’s one hot location in direct sunlight for most of the day. Here is a photo of the location facing Frontierland.

And here’s the opposite side looking back to Liberty Square.

We waited approximately 15 minutes to meet Chip and Dale. Thankfully, these two are listed in the My Disney Experience app. We always recommend checking the app on the day of your visit for the exact times and locations of the characters. Historically, character meet-and-greets rarely moved. But there have been a couple of shake-ups with the character lineups lately that can make it difficult to plan.
So, if you visit a park and notice that a character isn’t listed in the app, our best advice is to find a cast member wearing a blue shirt at another character’s meet-and-greet. That cast member should be able to help you with the whereabouts of the character you’re hoping to find.

Okay, back to these two! Do you know how to tell them apart? Chip is the one with a black nose like a chocolate chip! Dale has a red nose, and his teeth have a gap (or a dale) in them! If you can remember that, you’ll always know which one is which.

Chip and Dale are always eager to greet their guests and communicate well, even though they’re non-speaking characters. They also sign autographs at this location. However, on the day we stopped to see them, this meet-and-greet did not have a PhotoPass photographer. You’ll want your autograph book ready when it’s your turn.
