For summertime only, guests staying at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will have even more experiences and amenities designed for families with young children, including scheduled visits from favorite Disney pals. These will join the existing family-friendly offerings available across all Disney Resort hotels, including Disney movies under the stars, poolside activities, and more.

Here is the list of participating resorts for scheduled appearances this summer:
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort
Cool Kid Summer is scheduled to run from May 26th through September 8th in 2026. Disney has not stated any other details for this offering at this time. If this offering is reminiscent of last year, guests can expect to find signage posted in the lobbies indicating the character’s schedule for the week.
This announcement does not mean that characters won’t continue to make surprise appearances at other resorts. Characters will likely continue to visit all of the resorts. However, guests of the above-listed resorts will be privy to a dedicated schedule. This is especially nice if you have a resort day with no major plans.
Disney’s Cool Kids Summer promises more character experiences, attraction refreshes, limited-time activities designed for the entire family, and more! Visit Resorts Gal again soon to see what’s new!
