A Walk-Through of Storybook Circus During Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party
As we continue our coverage of Mickey’s Halloween Party, we’ll take a walk-through of Storybook Circus. The land geared toward little ones received a glow-up for this year’s special event, which I think most will want to check out during their visit. While it’s not anything nearly as elaborate, Storybook Circus was giving some of the same vibes you might find at Villain’s Grove at Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash. We were impressed with the overall lighting, projections, and attention to detail!

We’ll start at the entrance of Storybook Circus, where Pluto meets guests intermittently throughout the evening.

Past the entrance, we ran into a couple of circus performers outside of Big Top Souvenirs.

They performed several stunts and even executed a remarkably impressive balancing act. (I’m not sure if these are the same guys, but we’ve seen a balancing act group along Disney’s BoardWalk fairly recently.)

As you venture into Storybook Circus, you’ll see orange and purple lighting on almost all the trees.

The entire land features Dumbo and Timothy Mouse-shaped pumpkins that light up after dark.

We enjoyed the spider web projections.

Several guests were taking photos around the “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party!” logo projection.

Toward the back of the land, we saw signs for a DJ dance party.

It was pretty late when I circled back through to take these photos. Earlier, we saw a DJ spinning tunes and several guests dancing under the Calliope Tent.

Here are a few more photos from around the same area.

The bubbles were a nice touch.

A fun photo op is available to the far right of the Calliope Tent. If you missed it, we shared a couple of other step-in Halloween frames around the rest of the park.

Next door, at Pete’s Silly Sideshow, we ran into a Halloween meet-and-greet with Daisy Duck and Goofy.

Storybook Circus is home to two trick-or-treat trails during the party. One is at the Fantasyland Train Station, and the other is in the Dumbo, the Flying Elephant queue.

Overall, we loved the Halloween Fun in Storybook Circus. For a quick recap, you’ll find the following items in this area during the party:
- Pluto Meet-and-Greet at the Entrance
- Daisy Duck and Goofy Meet-and-Greet at Pete’s Silly Sideshow
- Trick or Treat Trails (Dumbo and Fantasyland Train Station)
- DJ Dance Party (Calliope Tent)
- Circus Performers (Intermittently in front of Big Top Souvenirs)
- Halloween Decorations
Whether you want to participate or only enjoy a stroll through the area, Storybook Circus is definitely worth a few moments of your time during the party.
