3 Dining Plans Will Be Available at Walt Disney World in 2027

Disney has announced that 3 dining plans will be available for Walt Disney World, starting in 2027. Disney has kept the Quick-Service Dining Plan, renamed the Disney Dining Plan to the Table-Service Dining Plan, and added a new Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan. We’ve put together a chart below that shows a comparison of each option.

Here is an explanation of the asterisks per Disney’s website:

* A specific number of meals and snacks are determined by the number of nights included in the package stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during your stay. Unused meals and snacks will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on day of checkout. Meals and snacks are nontransferable between party members.
** Resort-refillable drink mugs are eligible for refills from self-service beverage stations at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel quick-service location.
*** Not all dining events or fine/signature dining experiences accept Disney Dining Plans. See individual product detail pages or details in the booking flow to verify participation for individual dining events. For some dining experiences—including fine/signature and select Character dining experiences—2 table-service meals will be redeemed from the dining plan for each person dining.

What’s The Difference in the New Dining Plan?

As you can see, the big difference here is that guests on the new Deluxe Dining Plan in 2027 will be able to receive 2 table service credits per night of their stay. This will allow you to enjoy either two table service meals per night of your stay, or you might choose to redeem these credits at a signature or character meal that takes 2 service credits.

Will There Be Free Dining in 2027?

As of this update, there are no notices of free dining. Per the Walt Disney World website, guests will be able to enjoy savings of up to 20% on dining for kids with the purchase of a package that includes a dining plan for everyone in your family. Here are those details:

If you’re traveling in 2027, save up to 20% on dining for kids (ages 3 to 9) when you purchase a package that includes a dining plan for your family.

Savings compared to the nondiscounted price of menu items available to kids ages 3 to 9 at participating locations when purchased without a dining plan. Actual savings vary based on menu items ordered.
