Meet Donald and Daisy Duck at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
When it comes to characters at Hollywood Studios, Donald and Daisy are a fun option when you find them together. As you may know, there aren’t many places to meet them as a couple. However, from time to time, they’ve been known to meet together at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. When they are together, we usually find them at Echo Lake near Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction (the green dinosaur that doubles as an ice cream shop).
Donald and Daisy Duck often meet intermittently throughout the day at this location. Typically, they meet with guests between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This meet-and-greet is listed in the My Disney Experience app. We recommend checking the app on the day of your visit for the exact timing of their meet-and-greet, and we have provided the instructions on how to do that a little further down.
Update: As of this update, Daisy has been meeting solo at this location. Donald Duck is one of the roaming characters in the Walt Disney Studios Lot, which opened in the summer of 2026. Here is a photo of Daisy at this location.
How to Locate Donald or Daisy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
The following instructions are for using the My Disney Experience app to locate Donald or Daisy Duck.
- Open the My Disney Experience app and select the pin drop at the bottom of the home screen.
- Scroll (left to right) through the icons at the top of the screen and select “Characters.”
- After selecting characters, use the locations drop-down to select the park of your choice.
- Then, on the bottom right of the screen, select “Show List.”
- Scroll through the list of characters with their times and locations.
*As an alternative, you can use the map view to locate characters.
As the day passes, you might notice that characters disappear from the app. When their last scheduled time passes, the meet-and-greet automatically disappears. A new schedule won’t be loaded until the following day. It is essential to check the app for meet-and-greets on the day of your visit. The following details are from a visit when we found the pair meeting together:
When we arrived, a line had already formed for the pair. Unfortunately, we waited nearly 25 minutes because they left for a small break. This happens fairly often, so you’ll want to stay put if you see them leave. They will return shortly. We also had a situation where a large family met with the couple for a long time. Sometimes, that can be frustrating. But it’s part of meeting characters. We see many guests who wait for hours to meet a character and spend less than a minute greeting them and having their pictures taken. Ultimately, it tends to even out.

While both characters are non-verbal, they do a pretty good job of communicating. You can always tell when Donald gets in trouble. Daisy will let him know quickly.
