Santa’s Marketplace at Disney Springs is Now Open (Tips & Virtual Queue Details)
Santa Claus returns to Santa’s Marketplace at Disney Springs in 2025. Last year was the first time he met at this location. Santa’s Marketplace, hosted by Bauducco, is near Disney Pin Traders. This location is in the same vicinity as shops like Tren-D and Earl of Sandwich. This location opened on November 13th and will be available through December 24, 2025.

To participate in this meet-and-greet, you must join a virtual queue based on availability. To join the virtual queue, you must be at Disney Springs. Once you open the My Disney Experience app, you’ll see the option to join this virtual queue on the home page. It reads, “Meet Santa Claus at Disney Springs” and features a red background with a gold “S” for Santa Claus. Here’s what it looks like:

You’ll have multiple opportunities to enter the virtual queue throughout the day. Per Disney, guests can join the virtual queue at a designated time once they arrive at Disney Springs. You’ll need location services turned on so the app can recognize your location. Here are the times when guests can join the queue:
- 9:00 AM
- 11:00 AM
- 1:00 PM
- 3:00 PM
- 6:00 PM
Disney notes the following details about the virtual queue on their website:
- You must be at Disney Springs to enter the virtual queue.
- One person in your party can request to join the virtual queue for your entire party. They will receive a push notification when your party is ready to return. This push notification will open to a link to a digital entry code. If you are unable to find your digital entry code, select the 3-line “hamburger” icon in the app and select “Virtual Queues.”
- There is a maximum party size of 10 people.
- The virtual queue is subject to availability.
- A standby queue will not be available.
*Please be aware that the queue remains open until it is full. But from our experience, it fills quickly. By quickly, I mean that it could fill quickly within seconds. If the current queue is unavailable when you arrive, you’ll want to set an alarm on your mobile device to join the next available time drop. For example, if I missed the 9:00 a.m. drop, I would set an alarm for 10:59 a.m. to try for the 11:00 a.m. virtual queue.
As always, you’ll want to remember that the virtual queue is subject to availability. The closer it gets to Christmas, the more crowded the venue will get. My best advice is to visit as early as possible on a weekday. It’s also important to mention that the virtual queue doesn’t eliminate waiting in line. You may still encounter a line upon arrival, but it won’t be nearly as long as if guests were allowed to line up freely.
