Santa’s Meet-and-Greet is Now Open at Magic Kingdom for 2025 Holiday Season
Santa’s meet-and-greet is now open at Magic Kingdom. The jolly old Saint Nick meets daily during regular park hours in the Calliope Tent at the back of Storybook Circus. This location is also where he meets guests during Mickey’s Christmas Party. However, during the party, the area is called Santa’s Christmas Carnival.
Santa’s meet-and-greet debuted this year on Thanksgiving Day, which is a little later in the season than all the other locations in the parks and at Disney Springs. Several signs in the area advertise that you can meet Santa in Storybook Circus.

The Calliope tent, pronounced (Kah-Lie-O-P), is to the immediate right of Pete’s Silly Side Show. This area is typically used as a space where children can play while parents relax nearby. However, during the holidays, it’s transformed into a Santa meet-and-greet.

Most of the usual oversized chairs and furnishings are gone, since a queue has taken over the space.

Here is the setup where you can meet Santa at Magic Kingdom.

A PhotoPass photographer is available at this location. Unfortunately, as of publish time, this meet-and-greet is not listed in the My Disney Experience app. If meeting Santa at this location is important to you, we would suggest going earlier rather than later.

If you’re visiting the parks this holiday season, you might also like the opportunity to meet Santa at a few other locations. For instance, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Santa meets in Dinoland U.S.A. on the side patio of Restaurantosaurus. At Epcot, you’ll find him at a new location at CommuniCore Hall during the Festival of the Holidays. Perhaps, our favorite location for this year, though, is the new Santa meet-and-greet at Walt Disney Presents. Lastly, you can join a virtual queue to meet Santa at Disney Springs.
