See Toy Story Characters in Christmas Looks at Walt Disney World
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World during the holiday season, you might have the opportunity to see a few favorite Toy Story characters in Christmas apparel. Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear have traditional character meet-and-greets in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. However, during the holidays, they spruce up their outfits with more of a festive look. Here’s the trio now.

Buzz Lightyear wears a festive Santa hat. He meets across the walkway from Roundup Rodeo BBQ.

Woody and Jessie meet in front of Toy Story Mania. Woody is wearing a vest with Christmas tree appliques trimmed with candy cane ribbon. He has a giant candy cane in his holster. Jessie is sporting a green vest with peppermint trim and appliques. Her hat has a matching striped ribbon and mistletoe.

These characters typically wear these looks during the holiday season from mid-November through Christmas Day. If you’re visiting during this time, check the My Disney Experience app for their exact times and locations on the day of your visit. Since these characters meet outdoors, their appearances are subject to inclement weather. So, if you hope to meet them, keep the weather forecast in mind. Generally, the earlier, the better.

Here are the instructions for finding them in the My Disney Experience app.
How to Locate Characters in the My Disney Experience App
- Open the My Disney Experience app and select the pin drop at the bottom of the home screen.
- Scroll (left to right) through the icons at the top of the screen and select “Characters.”
- After selecting characters, use the locations drop down to select the park of your choice.
- Then, on the bottom right of the screen, select “Show List.”
- Scroll through the list of characters with their times and locations.
- As an alternative, you can use the map view to locate characters.
*As the day passes, you might notice that characters disappear from the app. When their last scheduled time passes, the meet-and-greet automatically disappears. A new schedule won’t be loaded until the following day. It is essential to check the app for meet-and-greets on the day of your visit.
