Your Guide to Coffee at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort (Locations, Menus, and More)

Coffee is an integral part of a Walt Disney World vacation for most of us. Whether you like to enjoy a cup on your balcony or find it necessary to fuel your day, you’ll want to know the best places to order it when you’re staying at Disney’s Boardwalk.

As we’ve discussed in our other resort coffee guides, all guest rooms offer an individual cup coffee maker at a minimum with Joffrey’s coffee pods and accompaniments. While the in-room coffee is okay, most will prefer to pick up a specialty coffee elsewhere around the resort. During our last stay at the BoardWalk, you may remember we were staying out late for a holiday, and I had trouble finding a decent cup of coffee after 3:00 p.m. Thankfully, things have changed, and there is now a location that serves decent coffee and stays open later. We’ll discuss it and your other coffee options around Disney’s BoardWalk.

Where to Find Coffee at the BoardWalk

We’ve listed each location to order coffee at the resort below.

In-Room Coffee

Every hotel room at Disney offers an individual cup coffee maker with accompaniments at the bare minimum. Here is a photo of the coffee maker in a standard room at Disney’s Boardwalk. Regular and decaf Joffrey’s coffee, creamer, and sweeteners are provided. Note, if you’re staying at Boardwalk Villas, you’ll likely have a full-size coffee maker.

Carousel Coffee

Carousel Coffee is the resort’s dedicated quick-service coffee shop. This location is off the lobby and offers specialty coffee drinks and pastries. You will likely find a line of guests spilling out the door first thing in the morning. However, it is nice that you don’t have to walk out to the BoardWalk for a cup.

The Cake Bake Shop Bakery

Those looking for an upgraded coffee drink or anyone who doesn’t care for Joffrey’s will be delighted to know that they can order a specialty coffee inside the bakery at The Cake Bake Shop. They serve the upscale Illy brand of coffee. We’ve listed the options below, which are also available at the adjoining restaurant. (This is the location that’s open late.)

Other Options

With the Cake Bake Shop serving coffee so late, I don’t know if you can find a better place to order a cup of coffee in the area. However, if you’re a Joffrey’s fan, you can take the Skyliner over to Disney’s Riviera Resort and order a cup from Le Petit Cafe. (See Our Coffee Lover’s Guide to Disney’s Riviera Resort.)

You can also continue on the Skyliner and exit at the Caribbean Beach station. The station has a dedicated Joffrey’s stand on the walkway leading to the loading area. (See Coffee Options at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.)

Additionally, all four theme parks have Starbucks and Joffrey’s locations. Valid admission is required to enter a park. You might also like our browse our guide: Where to Find Coffee at Disney’s Resorts (Every Location).
