Laundry Facilities at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Whether you’re doing a quick load before heading home or freshening up your clothes mid-vacation, it helps to know where to locate the resort’s laundry facilities. In this guide, we’ll cover Disney’s Art of Animation’s laundromat locations, hours, payment methods, and a few helpful tips to make the process easy during your stay. Like most of the resorts at Disney World, all three laundry rooms at Art of Animation are located near the pool areas.
🧺: This guide was last checked in June of 2025. We like to note, however, that information may change, so it’s always a good idea to double-check the resort’s laundry room before you set out to do a load.

Previously, the resorts used a service called Laundry View. However, Disney now uses a service called My GSCO. You’ll have to download the app and pay with your phone to do laundry. Or you can scan the QR code on the machine and pay directly without downloading the app. (The app is much easier if you have more than one load of laundry.) Laundry costs $3.50 per cycle. During our last stay, we received a 0.25 discount for downloading the app, which made the cost $3.25 per load.
The instructions on the sign read:
- Momentarily tap the machine sticker with your NFC-capable smartphone or scan a machine code with your smartphone camera or QR code.
- Pay with Google Pay, Apple Pay, or a credit card.
- Load the machine and press start.
Or you can visit MyCSCGO.com to start your load of laundry.

We’ll start with the laundry room at The Big Blue Pool, which is part of the Finding Nemo section of the resort. A building to the far right of the pool comprises the restrooms, changing areas, and laundry room. As you can see in the photo below, the laundry room has a separate entrance.

Inside, you’ll find a laundromat with six washers. Ten dryers line the back wall.

Two folding tables are available in the center of the laundry room.

Several vending machines have Coca-Cola products and snacks. This is a good place to remember if you need a late-night snack or beverage after everything has closed.

On the opposite wall, a vending machine sells laundry detergent and fabric softener. These machines still take credit cards for the time being. Detergent usually costs $1.00 a box. We use the green box, which is suitable for two to three loads. Always check the package label to ensure you don’t use too much detergent.

Another laundromat is available in The Little Mermaid section of the resort near the Flippin’ Fins Pool.

It is identical in size and layout to the laundry room in the Finding Nemo section.

Lastly, a laundry room is available at the Cozy Cone Pool. This pool sits in the center of the Cars section of the resort.

It has the same number of machines as the other laundry areas. However, the layout is a little different. Folding tables are available at the back of this laundry room.

You can see them better here. You might also notice that carts are available to help move your laundry from the washer to the dryer.

Unfortunately, the Lion King section of the resort does not have a laundry room or a pool. So, if you stay in that section, you’ll want to use the laundry room at the Flippin’ Fins Pool or The Big Blue Pool. We have a separate article with more details and photos of the pools at Disney’s Art of Animation. It includes photos of the showers and changing areas near the laundry rooms.
