Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort’s Bus System (Schedule, Stops, and Average Travel Times)
One of the perks of staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is having complimentary bus service to and from select theme parks and Disney Springs. While you’ll find multiple transportation options at the resort, some destinations require a bus ride. So for this article, we’ll focus specifically on the bus system, including average travel times, internal bus stops, and what to expect during your stay.
Those staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will have access to the Skyliner and Disney’s bus service. (You can also walk from the resort to Disney’s Riviera Resort.) However, it’s important to note the resort doesn’t offer bus service to the Skyliner destinations unless the gondola system is not operating. So, if you plan on taking advantage of Disney transportation, you’ll have to take the Skyliner when visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot. (I try to mention this because some people think the Skyliner is an alternative, and if you fear heights, you would likely want to be aware of that before deciding on a resort.)
Regarding bus transportation, you’ll want to know two things. First, Disney’s Caribbean Beach is a massive resort with multiple bus stops. You’ll want to locate the bus stop nearest your village early in the trip. Secondly, we can’t estimate how long you’ll have to wait at the bus stop. But we can tell you the average travel time from the resort to destinations like Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. We’ve provided the average travel time from the last bus stop that leaves the resort to each destination below.

Disney’s Caribbean has six bus stops, one in each resort section and the Skyliner. The theme park buses enter and exit the resort in different areas, depending on where they are traveling. So they don’t follow the same pattern for each destination. You’ll want to make sure to know the name of your stop and listen for it on return trips.
Here are our average bus travel times from Disney’s Caribbean Beach. Again, these times do not include how long we waited for the bus. Wait times signs are available at the resort bus stop, indicating when the next bus will arrive. The times below are how long it takes to get from the resort to the destination. They are the average of several trips and do not consider extenuating circumstances like significant traffic.
