Walking Between Disney’s Caribbean Beach and the Riviera Resort (With Distance)
If you’re staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach, you’ll likely want to walk to Disney’s Riviera during your stay or vice versa. During our last stay at Caribbean Beach, I tracked the distance between the Riviera’s lobby and Old Port Royale, the lobby at Caribbean Beach. Here are the results:
Distance Between Disney’s Riviera Resort Lobby and Old Port Royale
- 0.28 Miles
- Approximately a 6-minute walk
- 650 Steps

It’s a short walk to get between the lobbies of both resorts. Below is a photo of Old Port Royale taken from Disney’s Riviera Resort.

As you approach Old Port Royale, the colorful buildings come into view.

Here is a photo of where you enter the lobby.

Looking back, we can see Disney’s Riviera Resort in the distance.

Depending on your room’s location, you’ll have a few other options besides walking. For example, when we stayed in the Under the Sea-themed rooms in Trinidad, I took the resort’s internal bus from the Trinidad bus stop to Aruba. At Aruba, I exited and walked the rest of the way to Disney’s Riviera. This route was much quicker than walking.
I also could have walked to the Skyliner station at Caribbean Beach and taken the Skyliner to Disney’s Riviera. The only downside of both options is that you might have to wait in line for the Skyliner or the internal bus. The internal bus loops the resort approximately every 20 minutes.
Guests staying in Martinique or Aruba will be closest to Disney’s Riviera. Barbados and Jamaica will be slightly longer than what we tracked above. If you’re concerned about the distances, see our guide that discusses the walking distances from each village at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.
