Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Bus Schedule and Average Times
One of the benefits of staying at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is having complimentary bus service to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs. While the resort offers two forms of transportation, most destinations require a bus ride. So for this article, we’ll focus specifically on the bus schedule, including average travel times, internal bus stops, and what to expect during your stay.
Unfortunately, we can’t estimate how long you’ll have to wait for the bus. But we can share the average time it takes to travel from Port Orleans French Quarter to the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. We’ve tracked these routes (multiple times) to come up with an average.
We mentioned this in our Riverside bus travel times, but I wanted to clarify that bus service is provided from the French Quarter to every destination listed above. We have noticed that sometimes the wait time sign at the bus stop says “take a boat” for Disney Springs. The sign is slightly misleading and will often change if you wait long enough. Regardless, the bus for Disney Springs is coming. (This bus doubles as the internal bus to Riverside.)
Port Orleans French Quarter only has one bus stop. When you exit the resort’s front entrance, it will be to your immediate right. The bus stop is covered, but since the French Quarter is an exterior resort, you’ll have to walk outside to and from your room to reach it. Make sure to remember umbrellas and other rain gear in the event of rain.

Below, we’ve provided the average travel time from the last bus stop that leaves the resort to each destination. Note that our travel times do not include how long we waited for the bus. Wait times signs are posted at the resort bus stop, indicating when the next bus will arrive. Again, these are the averages of several trips and do not consider extenuating circumstances like significant traffic.
