Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Bus Schedule (With Stops)
One of the benefits of staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside Resort is having complimentary bus service to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs. While the resort offers two forms of transportation, most destinations require a bus ride. So for this article, we’ll focus specifically on the bus schedule, including average travel times, internal bus stops, and what to expect during your stay.
Unfortunately, we can’t estimate how long you’ll have to wait for the bus. But we can share the average time it takes to travel from Port Orleans Riverside to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. We’ve tracked these routes (multiple times) to come up with an average.
To clarify, bus service is provided to every destination listed, including Disney Springs. Sometimes, guests go to take a bus to Disney Springs and notice the wait times sign says, “Take a boat, ” so they leave to look for the boat dock. The sign is misleading. While the boat ride is pleasant, the bus is coming. During our last stay, a bus driver told us Riverside had two buses running simultaneously between it and Disney Springs. Each bus doubles as an internal bus that stops at the French Quarter on its way to the venue.
Port Orleans Riverside has four bus stops: West Depot, North Depot, East Depot, and South Depot. The South Depot is near the lobby. After your arrival, you’ll want to locate the closest bus stop to your room. Riverside’s bus stops have covered pavilions near each resort section’s parking lot. However, no covered walkways are available to and from the buildings. You’ll want rain gear to get to and from your room and the bus stop if it’s raining.

Below, we’ve provided the average travel time from the last bus stop that leaves the resort to each destination. Note that our travel times do not include how long we waited for the bus. Wait times signs are posted at the resort bus stop, indicating when the next bus will arrive. Again, these are the averages of several trips and do not consider extenuating circumstances like significant traffic.
