New Exterior Refurbishment Notices Posted for Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club (Extended Through 2027)
Disney has extended the exterior refurbishment notices for both the Beach and Yacht Club Resorts. Earlier in 2025, the Yacht Club saw extensive exterior work on the Crescent Lake-facing side of the resort. Other work included new roofing, siding, and a significant pool refurbishment. (The pool has since reopened.)
We have both the original and updated details for both exterior refurbishments listed below.
Original Notice for Yacht Club:
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance from early July
through October 2025. During this time, the porte cochere will be closed. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available, and most Resort amenities will continue to be offered.
New Notice (The entrance work at the Yacht Club was completed in late October. The exterior maintenance work has been extended into 2026 for the Yacht Club.)
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through late 2026. As part of this work, the porte cochere will be closed through late November 2025. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place.
Original Notice for Beach Club:
Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be undergoing routine exterior maintenance
from early June through September 2025. During this time, the porte cochere will be closed. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available, and most Resort amenities will continue to be offered.
New Notice for Beach Club (While the main entrance work is complete as of late October 2025, the exterior refurbishment for Beach Club has been extended into 2027.)
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through 2027. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining, and most other amenities will remain available.

You may recall that Disney’s Beach Club underwent a major interior update in 2023, resulting in updated rooms and new lobby furnishings. We have a before-and-after photo post here of the Beach Club’s 2023 refurbishment.
At this time, room updates are also taking place on the Yacht Club side of the resort. Room updates, however, are often less noticeable because they are done one floor at a time. As for the exterior construction at the front of the resort, it will be evident when coming and going from the resort’s bus stops.
