The Laundry Facilities at Disney’s Riviera Resort (Details and Photos)
Doing laundry might not be the most exciting part of a Disney World Vacation. It can, however, be a necessity, especially during longer trips. At Disney’s Riviera Resort, the laundry facility is located on the resort’s fourth floor near the East Elevator.
Since Disney’s Riviera is a Disney Vacation Club, all of the one-bedroom and larger accommodations have a built-in washer and dryer. Those staying in a tower studio or a deluxe studio will need to access the resort’s laundry room should the need to do laundry arise.

The laundry room is close to room 8440. When you get off either elevator (the West or East), you should see a sign pointing you in the right direction.

Since the Riviera is a DVC Resort, you do not have to pay to use the laundry facilities. Complimentary laundry is a perk when staying at a villa resort, even if you’re not a DVC member. The Riviera’s laundry room has three washers and six dryers.

Here are the dryers.

This resort still uses Laundry View. You can visit their website to check the status of your laundry. I usually just set a timer on my phone and retrieve it when the alarm sounds. (Most of the regular resorts use a laundry service called CSC GO. We have an overview of all the laundry facilities at Disney World if you would like to learn more about another resort.)

Detergent is available in a vending machine. There is no cost to purchase a box. If the machine is out of detergent, call housekeeping, and they will bring some to your room. You’ll want to read the label on the box. Each package is usually good for multiple loads.
