Fantasyland’s Christmas Decorations Add Touch of Whimsy to Magic Kingdom
As we continue our walk through Magic Kingdom, we find ourselves stopping in Fantasyland to see the Christmas decorations. This area of the park features all-new decorations with some highly customized pieces. We found these decorations around the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Then, on a later visit, we saw more decorations at Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour Village Gifts. I’ve also included a few photos from Storybook Circus, which is considered part of Fantasyland.

We’ll start with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The entire area in front of the attraction and its queue has been decorated this year. It looks really nice, especially for a space that doesn’t normally see any extras.

All of the lamp posts have touches of garland with decor. The little baskets with jewels from the mine are too cute.

Yes, they even light up at night.

Some of them even had red bows and little pick axes. (Heigh-ho)

Here are a few more photos.

Don’t miss the hidden Mickey!

Across the way, we found even more decorations around The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

A closer look reveals heffalumps as bees on honey combs!

Here are a few of the other decorations near the queue’s entrance.

They even had a red balloon!

Of course, the giant wrapped presents were the biggest standouts.

Here’s one for Pooh and Tigger.

Next are Piglet and Rabbit’s holiday gifts.

Don’t worry, there is one for Eeyore, too.

If you make it back to New Fantasyland, you’ll want to make sure to check out Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour Village Gifts.

The red and yellow bows and goblets were more than appropriate for Gaston.

But I preferred the festive garland that decorated Bonjour Village Gifts more than anything.

These decorations were all very provincial French.

Lastly, you might check out some of the holiday decor in Storybook Circus. That area of the park features fun wreaths on lamp posts with Dumbo and Timothy Mouse.

While the area gets a glow-up of sorts on evenings of Mickey’s Christmas Party, you can still see the wreaths and other ornaments during regular park hours.

I hope you enjoyed this mostly photo post of the Christmas decorations in Fantasyland. In case you missed it, we already checked out this year’s Christmas decorations in Frontierland and Liberty Square. Next, we’re headed to the front of the park to see this year’s holiday decor along Main Street, U.S.A.!
