The Play While You Wait Area at Magic Kingdom’s ‘Dumbo, The Flying Elephant’ to Close for Refurbishment
Disney announced that the play-while-you-wait area portion of the queue for Dumbo, the Flying Elephant, will close starting February 24, 2025. It is expected to reopen sometime this Spring. This indoor playground is an excellent place for parents to rest their weary feet while children play. Here is the official wording from Disney’s website.
The indoor children’s playground in the Dumbo the Flying Elephant queue will close for refurbishment on February 24, 2025 and is expected to reopen in Spring 2025. The attraction will remain open and available during this time.

UPDATE: Disney has extended the timeline for this refurbishment. The new announcement states that the play while you wait area will reopen later this year.
