Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Entrance Construction Update (Mid-August 2025)
During a recent stay in the Epcot Resorts area, we stopped by both Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club. Since it was raining, we were stranded for a little longer than expected. So I decided to check out both the resort’s entrances to see how the construction work was going. We’ve had a few special requests lately regarding this refurbishment, so we’ll see if we can discern anything from the photos, starting with the port cochere at Disney’s Yacht Club.

If you’re coming to and from the resort via bus, a ride share service, or personal car, the construction work is unavoidable. A construction wall surrounds the entire main entrance. Directionals point you toward the lobby.

Is it that big a deal? I don’t think so, but you won’t exactly get that grand feeling as you walk up to the front of the resort. Thankfully, the impressive back entrance on the opposite side of the lobby offers the same, if not better, effect. So you will still get that desired feeling when you’re coming and going to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, or any of the surrounding resorts. (Since I was staying at the Swan, I would not have been any the wiser.)

When you exit the Yacht Club’s front door, you’ll have the option to take an immediate left for self-parking, Mears Connect, and Disney’s Bus Service. Ridshare and valet options are to the right.

The photo below shows the walkway to the valet and ride-share pick-up area.

When I was returning to the Swan, I also noticed some scaffolding on the far end of Disney’s Yacht Club. These were the only visible, exterior areas under construction that we could see during our visit. Work on the Yacht Club’s entrance began in July and is expected to be complete by the end of October 2025.

Next, we’ll walk next door to the Beach Club. Since this resort’s entrance is a little more significant in size, you can get a better idea of the progress. This work began back in June and is expected to be completed by the end of September 2025.

Here is the current walkway from the resort to the bus stop.

Similar to the Yacht Club, a few directionals offer guidance for where to go when you’re leaving the resort.

Since the Beach Club’s entrance is larger, they have a pretty good area in front of the construction work where guests can drop off luggage or take advantage of valet.

It appears that not only is the Beach Club’s port cochere receiving a new roof, but the rafters and trusses are also being replaced.

Overall, the entrance work isn’t that much of a nuisance or inconvenience, especially compared to the work that was completed earlier this year on the opposite sides of both resorts. While the walls are an eyesore and don’t contribute to the wow factor, you’ll likely forget they are there as soon as you set foot in the resort. You could, however, have a room with a view of the construction work if you reserved a resort view room. If so, you might notice the work a little more than everyone else over the course of your stay. For more on either of these resorts, see our guides:
