BouTiki at Disney’s Polynesian To Undergo Refurbishment in June 2025
Disney has announced that BouTiki, the lower-level gift shop at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, is currently under refurbishment and is expected to undergo maintenance work through the end of the month. This comes as short notice, however, you may recall the entire resort is under a fairly broad refurbishment notice through 2026. Here is the official wording from the Walt Disney World website.
Starting June 2, 2025, BouTiki at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort will undergo maintenance, during which half of the store will be closed, while the other half will remain open. Please be aware that maintenance may be seen and heard in the area until the work is complete at the end of June.
Therefore, if you’re visiting Boutiki over the next month, the entire store might not be available. If you need help or are hoping to pick up a specific item, we recommend asking a cast member for help.
