Disney Adds Online Access to Resort Hotel Recreation Calendars
For years, recreation calendars were something that guests had to find after arriving at their Disney Resort, but things have changed. Disney has now begun posting each resort’s activity calendar online. This is a huge help, allowing guests a chance to review each resort’s offering before their stay.
The resort recreation calendars were formerly introduced on the 1st day of the month. In recent years, however, they have lasted for 2 and sometimes 2-3 months at a time. For example, the current calendar should be good for both November and December. Then, a new calendar will debut in January. My best advice is to save the resort’s calendar to your mobile device as a quick reference for your vacation. Here is an example of the November-December 2025 calendar shared between Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club.
As you can see calendar is a huge asset, especially regarding the timing of certain elements. For example, you might want to participate in a complimentary marshmallow roast one evening at your resort. The calendar lists the time and location for this event.
Another popular event is the Movie Under the Stars schedule. We love this offering, but sadly, it’s not always offered every night anymore. A quick look at the activities schedule notes which nights it is offered, along with the time, and the movie. If you have this information beforehand, you’ll be able to incorporate it into your schedule. This information is also important because the timing is based on the sunset. So times and movies change throughout the year.
If you’re planning a few months out, keep in mind that some activities will change. For instance, the silent disco is one of the newer offerings. The arts and crafts activities also change from time to time. It’s also important to note the distinction between free and paid recreation offerings. Anything with a ($) means that an additional cost is involved.
