First Look: Refurbished Guest Rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Walt Disney World has shared a first look at the refurbished guest rooms at Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This is the first update to the rooms since they underwent a complete overhaul in 2017. The current room refurbishment is expected to last through mid-February 2026. The new rooms feature subtle changes overall with vibrant pops of color. At first glance, it appears the laminate flooring has been updated to possibly a darker shade. A new rug and chair coverings add to the refreshed look. Here’s a look at what to expect:
The Mickey and Pluto artwork over the beds remains the same.
New curtains have been installed, featuring a Mickey shadow with an “Oh Boy.”
The bathroom layout remains the same. We really enjoy the compartments and extra places to store items. It’s also nice that a pocket door separates the vanity area from the rest of the room. An additional pocket door separates the water closet.
Disney’s Pop Century is our favorite choice among the value resorts. We’re happy to see that the rooms are receiving updates, but that the changes are mild overall. For more on the resort, see our guide to Disney’s Pop Century Resort:
