Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Room Renovation Now Complete
Laissez les bons temps rouler! We can now let the good times roll at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter with the latest room renovation reaching completion. Other than the exception of a handful of rooms, Disney has shared that guests can fully enjoy charming refurbished rooms at the French Quarter. Per Disney, throughout the rooms, colorful fabrics and patterns inspired by the city’s charming architecture bring the lively spirit of “The Big Easy” to life, just like the buildings’ vibrant exteriors.
Other details include touches of Mardi Gras celebrations, like artwork featuring purple, gold, and green beads. We also see touches of Princess Tiana and her lively crew from The Princess and the Frog. Characters included in the artwork include: Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Louis, and Charlotte La Bouff.

Here are a few more details directly from Disney.

Take a close look at the intricate detailing on the bathroom door and mosaic-style pattern above the beds, and you might catch hidden details like Tiana’s sparkling tiara, as well as drums and trumpets — an homage to New Orleans’ jazz roots.

The refreshed bathroom is as relaxing as it is functional, offering plenty of storage options and a spacious counter — perfect for those mornings when the family is getting ready before a fun-filled day at the theme parks.

This will likely wrap up the majority of the latest refurbishment at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter. Over the last year, we’ve seen updates at the Doubloon Lagoon Pool, Mardi Grogs Pool Bar, Scat Cat’s Club Cafe, and several other stops around the resort.
Update: Since this announcement, we’ve stayed in the new rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter, and have a full room tour of what to expect:
