Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Room Renovation Now Complete
Disney has announced that the room renovations at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter Resort are now complete! With the exception of a handful of rooms, Disney says guests can fully enjoy the charming, refurbished rooms in the French Quarter. Disney says colorful fabrics and patterns throughout the rooms, inspired by the city’s charming architecture, bring the lively spirit of “The Big Easy” to life, just like the buildings’ vibrant exteriors.
Other details include Mardi Gras touches, like artwork featuring purple, gold, and green beads. We also see touches of Princess Tiana and her lively crew from The Princess and the Frog. The artwork features Princess Tiana, Prince Naveen, Louis, and Charlotte La Bouff.
Update: Since this announcement, we’ve stayed in the updated rooms at Port Orleans French Quarter, and have a full room tour of what to expect:

Here are a few more details directly from Disney.

Take a close look at the intricate detailing on the bathroom door and the mosaic-style pattern above the beds, and you might catch hidden details like Tiana’s sparkling tiara, plus drums and trumpets—an homage to New Orleans’ jazz roots.

The refreshed bathroom is as relaxing as it is functional, with plenty of storage and a spacious counter—perfect for mornings when the family is getting ready for a fun-filled day at the theme parks.

This wraps up the majority of the latest room refurbishment at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter. Over the last year, we’ve seen updates at the Doubloon Lagoon Pool, Mardi Grogs Pool Bar, Scat Cat’s Club Cafe, and several other stops around the resort. A brief lobby refurbishment is also scheduled for August 2025.
