Grand Floridian’s Garden View Lounge to Reopen in Early 2026
I don’t know about you, but it’s high past time for afternoon tea at Disney’s Grand Floridian. In a recent Disney Parks Blog announcement about the new lobby bar’s opening date, Disney noted that they were preparing to reopen the Garden View Lounge in early 2026. This location was formerly called the Garden View Tea Room. Here’s what Disney has to say about the reopening.
We may be putting the finishing touches on the lobby, but the story doesn’t end there. In early 2026, The Garden View Lounge will reopen with a refreshed look that complements the new lobby design. The space will offer a new tea experience with whimsical Disney touches for guests of all ages.
The Garden View Tea Room previously closed in early 2020 due to the COVID-19 closures. When the resort reopened later, the tea room didn’t return. Since then, the resort has undergone an extensive renovation, resulting in new rooms, enhanced dining experiences, and now a new lobby area.
