Merchandise Report Spring 2024: Jackson Square Gifts and Desires

We visited Jackson Square Gifts and Desires in April of 2024 to check out merchandise offerings. This post features photos of resort-themed items, seasonal collections, and other unique finds available at the time of our visit. We’ve also shared photos of sundries and other items a little further down that rarely change. Those images will make you aware of what will be available at the resort during your stay.

If you are new to our resort gift shop photo posts, we would like to mention that merchandise and apparel do change from time to time. So not every item pictured will be available during your visit. However, the grocery and personal items rarely change. These photos will give you a good idea of the kind of merchandise that will be available during your vacation. Jackson Square is open daily from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Here is a photo of the main entrance from the lobby. An additional entrance is available from outside the shop next to the arcade.

Jackson Square Gifts is a large store with a good selection of merchandise. We’ll start with the resort-branded items. They had a few displays that were specific to Mardi Gras without the actual Disney theming.

We saw t-shirts, scarves, and masquerade items.

This “Beignet All Day” t-shirt was available the last time we photographed the resort. Some things change out often; others don’t.

Here’s a matching mug. These items are also available at Fulton’s General Store, next door at Riverside.

Here are a few things branding the resort’s logo.

This Scat Cats tumbler has been popular since it debuted a while back.

Here, we have a silver canteen with the Port Orleans French Quarter logo in white.

Another display features items with The Princess and the Frog theming.

I had not seen this Disney Parks blown glass ornament with Tiana on one side and the resort logo on the other.

The Port Orleans French Quarter Sketchbook ornament was present on the day of our visit.

This magnet set also looked fairly new. We’ve seen a couple of similar ones at value resorts recently.

Now that we’ve examined the resort merchandise, we’ll look at a few more items like this display of Stitch items.

You’ll find plenty of apparel in case you need something or fancy it.

Speaking of needing something, if you forget your swimsuit, you should be able to find a replacement. Disney’s pools are generally heated to 82 degrees. So you might be surprised to find that you can often swim even in the cooler months. It’s not uncommon for us to have days in the high 80s during the winter.

Let’s briefly talk MagicBands. Most regular MagicBands have been phased out, and it would be rare to find one these days. So, if you want a MagicBand, the MagicBand+ is probably going to be your only option. They have a few at the resort’s gift shop, but you’ll find larger selections in the theme parks and at Disney Springs.

Every gift shop at the resort has a luggage selection and umbrella strollers.

Here, we have a few board games, cards, puzzles, and similar items.

These sleepy plush are adorable.

Port Orleans French Quarter has a decent selection of Disney-branded popcorn, candy, and other snacks.

One display had a beignet mix and tin cans of coffee with chicory, along with a cook book.

Here, we have several packages of Entemann’s and other pastry items.

You should be able to find a decent selection of grocery and pantry style items.

Here, we have the refrigerated cases that line the gift shop’s back wall.

It’s always nice to have sundries and other items like the ones pictured below. You might rub a blister and need a package of Moleskin or something similar.

Here’s a few more things.

All of the resort gift shops have a display cabinet with various liquors behind a register.

A pressed penny machine featuring imprints from The Princess and the Frog sits toward the back of the store.
