Room Refurbishment Announced for Magnolia Bend at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside

Disney has announced that select rooms at Port Orleans Riverside will undergo a renovation, starting in May of 2025. This room refurbishment will be for the Magnolia Bend rooms. Work is expected to be completed sometime in February of 2026. Here is the official statement from the Walt Disney World website.

From early May 2025 through the end of February 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.

Updated: Initially, this work was scheduled to take place between April 2025 and January 2026. From our understanding, Disney was late wrapping up the room renovation at neighboring Port Orleans French Quarter, which put this work further behind schedule. This announcement is specific to the Magnolia Bend area of Riverside. There is no mention of Alligator Bayou at this time.
