Room Refurbishment Announced for Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside
Walt Disney World has announced that select rooms at Port Orleans Riverside will undergo a renovation, starting in May 2025. This room refurbishment will be for the Magnolia Bend rooms. Work is expected to be completed sometime in February of 2026. Here is the official statement from the Walt Disney World website.
From early May 2025 through the end of February 2026, Guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Guests may see or hear construction work in the area.

Update: The Port Orleans Riverside Room renovation has been extended to last through 2027. Read the latest notice for the extended room refurbishment here.
