The Disney Junior Play n’ Dine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is Permanently Closing
Disney has announced that the current Disney Junior Play n’ Dine character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will end this October. The meal will be replaced by Minnie Mouse and her friends, who already appear at Minnie’s Seasonal Dining for lunch and dinner. This means characters like Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Doc McStuffins will no longer be available at the meal. Here is the official wording from the Walt Disney World website.
Beginning October 12, 2025, Minnie Mouse and her friends will appear at breakfast for Minnie’s Seasonal Dining. Guests dining during breakfast will continue to experience Disney Junior Play n’ Dine through October 11, 2025.
At present, Hollywood and Vine is the only character dining location at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This restaurant is directly behind Echo Lake, near the park’s entrance. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, this meal works differently from other restaurants. At breakfast, guests meet popular Disney Junior Characters exclusive to the Disney Junior Play n’ Dine Breakfast. However, the restaurant transitions to Minnie’s Seasonal Dine during lunch and dinner. The theme of this meal changes every few months to represent the season.

Again, the Disney Junior Play n’ Dine breakfast will permanently end on October 11th. If you’ve been following along, you also know that the Disney Junior character meet-and-greets at Hollywood Studios were replaced earlier this summer. You may still be able to see a few of these characters at Get Animated (the Disney Junior Play and Dance) through September 24, 2025. After that, the Disney Junior Play and Dance permanently closes. A new animation-inspired experience will be built in the current Animation Courtyard.

Hopefully in that case, Doc McStuffins will move somewhere else at Walt Disney World.
I thought about you when I saw this announcement. I hope you’ll still have the opportunity to see them.
