How to Get From Disney’s Beach Club to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
Imagine you’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club and want to visit the Grand Floridian. Whether it’s visiting for the sole purpose of enjoying the piano player as you relax in the lobby or for a delightful dinner with characters at 1900 Park Fare, you’ll need to know how to get there. Thankfully, there are a couple of options, but we think one way is a little better. So below, we’re sharing what we think is the best way to get from Disney’s Beach Club to the Grand Floridian using complimentary transportation provided by Disney.
Best Way from Disney’s Beach Club to the Grand Floridian
Take a bus from Disney’s Beach Club Resort to Magic Kingdom. At Magic Kingdom, you’ll walk through the security clearance. From there, you have three options. You can do one of the following:
- Take the resort monorail from the Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian.
- Take a scenic boat ride from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian.
- Take the walkway from Magic Kingdom to the Grand Floridian.
You’ll want to consider the weather when deciding which option works best for you. But overall, pick the option that interests you most.
Alternative Route: Beach Club to Grand Floridian
As an alternative, you can take a FriendShip Boat or walk from the Beach Club to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. From there, board a bus to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.
A Note on Breakfast Reservations: We would not rely on taking a bus from a theme park to a resort before 10:00 a.m. From our experience, it often takes longer to find a bus that’s immediately returning to the resort. If we were visiting the Grand Floridian for breakfast, we would allow time to take the bus to Magic Kingdom and then the monorail or boat to the Grand Floridian. However, if your breakfast reservation is early (ex., 7:30 a.m.) you will probably need to take a car service or Minnie Van. Remember that these routes are subject to availability and hours of operation.
