Disney’s Beach Club Exterior Refurbishment Update (August 2026)
After a two-month break in the exterior refurbishment of Disney’s Beach Club, new scaffolding and construction walls have gone up at the resort. If you’re staying here in the near future, you will likely see scaffolding and exterior work taking place. As a reminder, the Beach Club’s exterior refurbishment is currently scheduled to last through 2027.
Here is a photo of a newly installed construction wall at the Beach Club. For reference, this wall is to the left of the Tidal Pool and the main laundry facilities. You may remember the leisure pool area was closed off earlier this year while new roofing and siding were installed in that area. As for this side of the resort, the siding and roofing still need to be replaced from this point pictured below all the way to where the resort meets the Yacht Club.
Last week, scaffolding also went up on the front right side of the resort. This is the room area that faces the bus stop.
We saw that temporary planters had been installed along the walkway to the bus stop, blocking most of the views.
The scaffolding hasn’t quite reached the main entrance of the resort.
As far as the rest of the resort, we didn’t notice any other major work taking place except for the Beach Club Villas lobby. You may remember that the villas lobby refurbishment is expected to last through September. A partition is up blocking the lobby area from view, but you can tell from the photo that the wood floors are being sanded. It was rather loud, but sometimes noise is unavoidable, especially with this sort of work.
Unlike the exterior of the Yacht Club, the Beach Club’s exterior refurbishment still has a long way to go. We do not know whether there will be another break at the Beach Club over the upcoming holiday season. You may remember that in our exterior update in June, all of the scaffolding at the Beach Club had come down.
