The Gift Shops at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort is home to three gift shops that sit along the Boardwalk promenade. The three shops sit adjacent to each other, each with an independent name. Those names are the Screen Door General Store, Thimbles and Threads, and Character Carnival. Once you’re inside, you’ll realize the three shops comprise one tremendous store. These shops offer a wide range of merchandise. You might find anything from a t-shirt with the Boardwalk logo to a lollipop the size of your head!

The BoardWalk’s gift shops are typically open from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. However, you will want to check the exact operating hours during your visit. There are times when the hours might be slightly adjusted. If you haven’t visited in a while, you may notice some changes to the interior on your next visit. The gift shop was completely updated in 2025.

🛍️ What You’ll Find at BoardWalk’s Gift Shops

For reference, the Screen Door General Store is the resort’s sundries-style shop, offering snacks, healthy and beauty aides, and other convenience items. Character Carnival is somewhat more of a children’s area, and Thimbles and Threads offers resort-specific merchandise and a variety of clothing.

Adult Apparel

Thimbles and Threads offers a decent selection of apparel items. The shop carries brands like Tommy Bahamas, Lilly Pulitzer, and others. You will also find the latest trends and timeless classics. If you’re looking for something a little dressier, you should be able to find it here. If not, make sure to check across the lake at The Market at Ale and Compass Gift Shop at Disney’s Yacht Club.

Souvenirs and Resort-Branded Merchandise

The BoardWalk usually has a decent selection of resort-branded merchandise. We often see items specific to the BoardWalk Inn, the BoardWalk Villas (the DVC section of the resort), and some items representing AbracadaBar (the magician-themed lounge).

Additionally, the shop always has a decent selection of Ear Headbands, tumblers, mugs, pool accessories (including swimsuits), items for the home, hat wear, and pretty much anything else you would find at a Disney gift shop.

Other

Boardwalk’s Gift shop also has a decent selection of higher-end items like jewelry and handbags. They have display cases with Pandora and other jewelry, including necklaces, watches, and charms. Dooney and Bourke, Loungefly, and other popular handbags are available. If you can’t find a particular item, ask the cast member, and they’ll be able to help you locate it.

Art on Demand Kiosk at Disney’s BoardWalk’s Gift Shops

Disney’s BoardWalk is home to an art-on-demand kiosk where guests can preview a selection of prints. They can then use the kiosk to order the prints and have them shipped to their home.

Seasonal Merchandise

Throughout the year, features limited-time items related to:

• Holidays (Halloween, Christmas, etc.)
• The latest special collections, trends, or collaborations.
