The Disney Visa Cardmember Star Wars Photo Op to End at Hollywood Studios This September
Disney Visa has announced that the exclusive Star Wars character experience and photo opportunity is closing at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Per the announcement, the offering held at Star Wars Launch Bay will no longer be available beginning September 25, 2025. At this time, details are limited, but Disney has confirmed that a new cardmember experience is in the works. Here is the official announcement.
The Disney® Visa® Cardmember Star Wars Photo Opportunity at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be unavailable beginning September 25, 2025. Update: A new Disney Visa Character Experience featuring Olaf will debut at Celebrity Spotlight at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We have those details in a separate announcement.
In case you missed it. Disney also announced that Animation Courtyard would close in late September to make way for a reimagined park area called The Walt Disney Studios. The updated area will offer a refreshed outdoor space, a new animated adventure called The Magic of Disney, and an indoor playground inspired by the original Alice in Wonderland concept art.
