Resort Lobby to Be Refreshed at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

Walt Disney World has announced that the lobby of Pop Century Resort will undergo a refurbishment starting in late July 2025. Work on the lobby is expected to continue through October. Here is the official announcement:

From July 28 through early October, the lobby at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will undergo a refresh. The lobby will remain open during construction, and all amenities will be available. Guests may hear or see maintenance in the area until work is complete.

Update: The lobby refurbishment is complete as of mid-November. We now have a photo report with a before-and-after look at Pop Century’s Lobby.

This lobby refurbishment joins the list of a lengthy refurbishment that has taken place over the last year or so. You may also remember that a room refurbishment is already underway and is expected to last through 2026. Disney shared a first look at the updates to the rooms earlier this year. Last year, Pop Century’s food court and gift shop were also entirely refurbished as part of an extensive multi-year refurbishment.
