Disney World Extended Evening Hours for October 2026
The Extended Evening Hours schedule for October is now available for guests staying at deluxe and deluxe villa resorts. This month, we see hours offered at three of the four parks, including a few evenings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We also see a rare Tuesday night offering later in the month.
If you’ve been following along, you know that this resort benefit is typically offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Epcot and Magic Kingdom. However, it’s common to see schedule changes in the latter months of the year due to seasonal parties at Magic Kingdom in the Fall. We’ll see even more changes in November and December as holiday parties are held at both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
For those wondering, Extended Evening Hours allow select resort guests to experience the parks for a couple of hours after regular closing time on select evenings. To be eligible, you have to stay at a deluxe or deluxe villa resort. If you’re staying at a moderate, value, or off-site resort, you won’t qualify for this extra benefit. It is one of the advantages of staying at a Disney World Hotel.
As of the time of publication, Extended Evening Hours will be held on the following evenings in October:
- Monday, October 5th at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, October 7th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Monday, October 12th at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, October 14th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Monday, October 19th at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Tuesday, October 20th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
- Monday, October 26th at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, October 28th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (9:00 to 11:00 p.m.)
Disney notes that applicable theme parks, days, and times of operation, attractions, and service availability may vary and are subject to change without notice.
*Please note that Disney could extend park hours between now and your visit. Our best advice is to double-check park hours on the day of your visit to ensure accuracy. You can view these hours in the My Disney Experience app. On the home page of the app, scroll down to the section titled “Plan My Visit,” and select Park Hours and Info. (We use this feature every time we visit the parks to double-check hours of operation.) The calendar below highlights the dates.

As always, those eligible for Extended Evening Hours might want to pair these evenings with a partial resort day, slower morning, or midday break. Guests with a park hopper ticket entitlement can begin the day in one park and then hop to that park later. That said, if you do not have a park hopper ticket and are eligible for this benefit, you would need to plan your day at the park that’s offering Extended Evening Hours. If you don’t want to spend the entire day in the park, you can always leave and return later.
We always try to take advantage of this benefit whenever we’re eligible. Extended Evening Hours often mean lighter crowds and shorter waits for most attractions. October should be a great month to visit with somewhat cooler temperatures. If you would like to know more about visiting this time of year, see our overview of Disney World in October.
