September 2026 Disney World Extended Evening Hours Schedule
The Extended Evening Hours schedule for deluxe and deluxe villa guests is now available for September. This month, we see extended evening hours offered at all four parks at least once. That includes a few later evenings at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the last two weeks of the month. This month’s schedule changes are usually due to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party being offered at Magic Kingdom on select nights throughout the week. We’ll expect to see similar schedules between now and the end of the year due to special ticketed events offered through late December.
For those wondering, Extended Evening Hours allow select resort guests to experience the parks for a couple of hours after close on select evenings. To be eligible, you have to stay at a deluxe or deluxe villa resort. If you’re staying at a moderate, value, or off-site resort, you won’t be eligible for this extra benefit. When planning our stays, we always consider this resort benefit and take advantage of it whenever we can. It is one of the better perks of staying at a Disney World Hotel.
As of publish time, Extended Evening Hours will be held on the following evenings:
- Wednesday, September 2nd at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
- Monday, September 7th at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, September 9th at Magic Kingdom (10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.)
- Monday, September 14th at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, September 16th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Monday, September 21st at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday, September 23 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (9:00 to 11:00 p.m.)
- Monday, September 28th at Epcot (9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
Disney notes that applicable theme parks, days, and times of operation, attractions, and service availability may vary and are subject to change without notice.
*Please note that this is the schedule as of publish time. Disney could extend park hours between now and your visit. Our best advice is to double-check park hours on the day of your visit to ensure accuracy. You can view these hours in the My Disney Experience app. On the home page of the app, scroll down to the section titled “Plan My Visit,” and select Park Hours and Info. (We use this feature every time we visit the parks to double-check hours of operation.) We’ve created the calendar below to highlight the dates.

As always, those eligible for this benefit might want to pair these evenings with a partial resort day, slower morning, or midday break. Guests with park hopping entitlements can begin the day in one park and take advantage of extended evening hours by hopping to that park later. That said, if you do not have a park hopper ticket and are eligible for this benefit, you would need to plan your day at the park that’s offering Extended Evening Hours. If you don’t want to spend the entire day in the park, you can always leave and return later.
We always try to take advantage of this benefit whenever we’re eligible. Extended Evening Hours often mean lighter crowds and shorter waits for most attractions. While September is one of the slowest months of the year, it is important to remember that it’s one of the hottest. If you would like to know more about visiting this time of year, see our overview of Disney World in September.
For last month’s schedule, see August 2026 Extended Evening Hours. We’ll post October’s schedule when it becomes available. Check back with Resorts Gal soon for more Disney World Resort info!
