When will Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party start in 2026? As of this morning, Disney has revealed a clue in the form of a playing card along with a riddle. If we are interpreting the riddle correctly, August 7th will be the first date this year’s party is offered, which is a somewhat earlier start than usual. Let’s take a closer look, starting with the riddle.
The riddle reads, “when the pumpkin hour chimes just right, A clock Unveils secrets within siGht. check the hands, then coUnt the patch, the harveSt holds the first date to caTch! “
You might notice a strange use of capitalization in the letters. If we take only the capitalized letters out, we find they form the word AUGUST. It comes as no surprise that the party should start in August.
Then, if we look at the corresponding clock, the riddle says the “clock unveils secrets within sight,” and “to check the hands, then count the patch.” Well, the only hand on the clock is pointed to 8:00, and if we count the pumpkins, we find 7 (seven).
I don’t know about you, but I’m thinking Friday, August 7th, might be the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in 2026? Finally, an announcement on the Disney Parks Blog states that the full reveal for both cards will appear on Tuesday, April 28th. So it looks like we’ll know more about Mickey’s Halloween Party tomorrow! That seems about right, since we are approximately halfway to Halloween!
