The announcement states that the kiddie pool deck at Disney’s Pop Century will close starting April 13th. It is expected to remain closed through late April 2026. During this time, the resort’s feature pool and all other amenities will remain available to guests. Here is the official wording for the temporary closure:
From April 13 through late April 2026, the kiddie pool deck at Disney’s Pop Century Resort will be closed for routine maintenance. During this time, the Hippy Dippy Pool and all other amenities will remain available. Guests may see or hear maintenance activity in the area during daytime hours.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort is home to three pools. The Hippy Dippy Pool is considered the resort’s feature pool, and it is the only resort pool that has a neighboring kiddie pool. The resort is also home to pools in the 90’s and 50’s sections. See our guide to the pools at Disney’s Pop Century Resort for a complete overview of what to expect.

Pop Century has been undergoing a multi-year refurbishment, which resulted in subtle room updates, an entirely re-themed quick service food court, and significant lobby updates. We recently shared a before-and-after look highlighting some of the changes. While most of the refurbishment notices have been removed, we still noticed that exterior painting and a few other small updates were ongoing during our visit to the resort in late March.
