New Menu Items Debut at California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (June 2026)
If you’ve been thinking about securing a dining reservation at the California Grill, you’ll likely want to be aware of a few new menu items. For reference, California Grill is the signature restaurant located on the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The restaurant offers a prix fixe menu for both adults and children. At the time of this announcement, pricing is $89.00 per adult, plus tax and gratuity, and $39.00 per child, plus tax and gratuity. A special wine pairing is available for an additional $72.00.
Let’s take a look at the new menu items, starting with the hearth-steamed saffron mussels. Per the menu, the mussels come with charred leeks, chorizo, potato confit, and persillade.

Next, we have a couple of new flatbreads. Historically, the restaurant is known for a few particular items, including flatbreads and unique sushi rolls. Here is the artichoke flatbread, described as a white bean puree, ramp aioli, lemon zest, artichokes, arugula, and California extra virgin olive oil.

An additional seasonal flatbread is described as a chef-inspired creation featuring seasonal ingredients. It looks like the one below features fresh figs.

Next, we have a menu item that is available for an additional surcharge of $47.00, the Wagyu Strip Loin. This item features corn, beef tallow-herb fingerling potatoes, grilled green garlic, and salsa macha

Moving on, this domestic lamb dish looks intriguing. It comes with herb-ricotta gnudi, fava beans, stinging nettles, root spinach, tomato ragù, and red wine jus

Here we have a Cioppino with Black bass, clams, shrimp, calamari, mussels, crispy garlic chips, and sourdough croutons.

The next dish, the seared market fish, reminds me of the Halibut I had on my first-ever visit to California Grill, more years ago than I care to remember. At that time, you weren’t required to stick with the prix fixe menu. This dish is served with wax beans, ancient grains, English peas, Marcona almonds, and Meyer lemon-caper butter sauce

For a sweet ending to your meal, you might also enjoy the new Celebration of Citrus. It’s described as Meyer lemon, olive oil-poppy seed cake, blood orange gel, and yuzu curd

As far as drinks are concerned, the restaurant has shared two new options. These items are not included with the prix fixe menu. Here we have the Honeycomb Fizz, which features Casamigos Blanco Tequila, house-made lemon and honey syrup, peach nectar, and Domaine Carneros Brut.

Or you might enjoy the Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned, which is made with Redwood Empire Pipe Dream Bourbon, vanilla maple syrup, Angostura bitters, Luxardo gourmet maraschino cherries with an orange twist.
