Characters at Pete’s Silly Sideshow To Be Temporarily Relocated in Early 2026
Walt Disney World has announced that the characters who meet inside the circus tent of Pete’s Silly Sideshow will be temporarily relocated, starting January 5, 2026. Since the original announcement, Disney has moved the refurbishment date a day earlier to January 4, 2026. For reference, Pete’s Silly Sideshow is inside a large circus tent directly behind Big Top Souvenirs toward the back of Storybook Circus in Magic Kingdom.
This location features two lines. One line leads to meet Donald and Goofy as Daring Disney Pals. Donald meets as the Astounding Donaldo, a snake charmer, and Goofy as The Great Goofini, a stuntman. On the opposite side of the tent, you’ll find Dashing Disney Pals. This is where you can meet Daisy Duck as Daisy Fortuna, a fortune teller, and Minnie Magnifique, a dog trainer.
Update: Pete’s Silly Sideshow reopened in early July of 2026. All character meet-and-greets have returned inside the tent. This location is listed in the My Disney Experience app.

Per Disney, the characters will continue to meet in Storybook Circus, only not inside Pete’s Silly Sideshow. Here are the exact details provided by Disney:
Daring Disney Pals will be temporarily unavailable beginning January 5. Donald Duck and Goofy will be greeting guests in Storybook Circus.
Dashing Disney Pals will be temporarily unavailable beginning January 5. Daisy Duck and Minnie Mouse will be greeting guests in Storybook Circus.
