Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Entrance Construction Now Complete
During a recent hotel stay, we noticed that construction had wrapped up on both the entrance of Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club. You may remember that both port cochere entrances were pretty much re-constructed in recent months. The work was so extensive that the majority of both resort entrances were completely walled off for most of the last few months.

Then, in late August, the refurbishment was extended through November 2025 for the Beach Club and through October 2025 for the Yacht Club. In fact, the Walt Disney World website still has the following notice on the Beach Club’s home page.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through 2027. As part of this work, the porte cochere will be closed through late November 2025. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place.

Given the fact that all walls were down and the space returned to full service, we’re willing to say that the work is complete. Previously, the entire walkway from the lobby to the bus stop was lined with walls.

The only thing that I noticed that was different was these new railings near the service entrance. I’m sure they have some sort of purpose.

Overall, the resort looks better than ever. Per the notice, exterior maintenance will continue at Disney’s Beach Club through 2027. I’m not sure to what extent that work will entail. You may remember we stopped by the Wilderness Lodge earlier this week and found extensive scaffolding and the Copper Creek Springs walkway closed.

I also walked over to the Yacht Club on the following evening to check on the status of that entrance. The walls were down, and the entire port cochere was back in full service. That said, Disney’s Yacht Club is expected to undergo routine maintenance through 2026. As of late, we’ve seen the majority of the interior common areas and lobby painted a stark white color.

Both Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club have undergone extensive refurbishments in the last few years. The shared feature pool area, Stormalong Bay, was closed earlier this year for approximately six months. It reopened back in June.
Disney’s Yacht Club has also undergone a complete room refurbishment that wrapped up recently. We have several articles that highlight updates at the Beach Club side of the resort:
