Refurbishment Extended for Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Through 2027
Walt Disney World has announced extended refurbishment dates for both Disney’s Beach Club and the Yacht Club. The new notices extend the exterior refurbishment through 2027. You may remember that earlier this summer, the exterior refurbishment was first announced for both resorts.
A portion of this notice was specific to the resort’s port cocheres. That work is expected to last through September 2025 for the Beach Club and October 2025 for the Yacht Club. We visited while the work on the port cocheres was taking place and took a few photos. Since this article was originally written, the port cochere work was completed. We have an updated photo post of the new front entrances here. Below, we’ll take a closer look at what the 2027 extensions will entail.

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is undergoing routine exterior maintenance through 2027. As part of this work, the porte cochere will be closed through September 2025. This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place.
While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining, and most other amenities will remain available.

Next, we have the official announcement extending the Yacht Club’s refurbishment through 2026.
